The Grissom Family

This sweet family goes to church with us! Jace and Shelbe are best friends. Joseph and Amanda have 4 little girls and their middles names are Grace, Hope, Faith, and Joy. How awesome is that??? The 3 oldest have the rockers with their names on them and they are super cute. 

       

Brooke, Grayer, and a Fun August Day!

My college roommate and sweet friend, Brooke, brought her son Grayer to visit with Jace last Thursday. The boys are almost exactly one year apart but had a great time despite the age gap. Brooke and I took them to the spashpark at a local campground. Grayer loved the water and was not scared of it at all. Jace did not want it shooting in his face. Brooke packed a picnic and we spent the afternoon with the boys in the water and on the slides. Maybe they will be as close as their mommies are one day!!!! What a fun way to close out August and welcome cooler weather.

Shelbe's 2nd Birthday Party

Shelbe is Jace's best friend. We go to church with her family and they are such sweet people. Jace and Shelbe are 3 months apart. She is the older woman in this relationship. Jace calls her "Bebbie" and Shelbe calls him "Jay." This was her 2nd birthday party and they had so much fun. 

Easton Shields- August 2010

 I took these shots of Easton on August 14, 2010. Easton is my first cousins son and he and Jace (my son) are best friends. It was super hot but he was a trooper. Easton and Mason (see earlier post) are first cousins and their gran gran wanted similar pictures of them to hang. His favorite shots were the ones of him getting to play football. I do not even think he noticed that I was taking pictures. Easton has the BEST EYELASHES!!!
